Port Aransas lies on the north end of Mustang Island, an 18-mile-long barrier island on the Coastal Bend of Texas.
This area is known for its miles of beautiful Gulf beaches with large sand dunes and plentiful wildlife.
To the east is Corpus Christi, the seventh
largest port in the nation. All ships in route to Corpus Christi must pass through the jetties in Port A.

Port Aransas offers a casual, athletic and fun
lifestyle with excellent fishing and shelling year round. Water sports include surfing, sailing, kiteboarding, windsurfing and parasailing.
The average temperature here is 71 degrees and a light to moderate wind typically blows.
The City of Port Aransas sponsors a Sand Festival every April which brings over 100,000
visitors to town. Sculptors create sandcastles that are works of art over a 3-day weekend.
Port A has excellent restaurants, many on the
water with views of the ship channel and marina and many offer live music on weekends. You can walk and bike easily though our town to the many
shops, restaurants and businesses.
Whatever your style, a high rise condo with a spectacular Gulf view, an island home nestled in the dunes or a canal home with a boat in the backyard,
it’s waiting for you in Port Aransas. Come coast a while.
